Divine Doors Online Success

Divine Doors opened its doors to the public in 2005. It's first retail showroom is based in Dublin Industrial Estate, Glasnevin, Dublin 11. In 2006, Divine Doors launched it's website. Since launching the website, we began using Google's Adwords campaigns to help customers find Divine Doors on the internet.

From the beginning, Divine Doors got a lot of visitors to it's website, plus a lot of extra visitors to it's showrooms as a result of the traffic on it's website. After approximately six months to a year, the Divine Doors website began to get a first page listing on Google's free listings on the internet search engine.

Divine Doors now gets about 6,000 free visits and 5,000 ‘pay per click' visits to its website per month. Divine Doors website traffic generates over 50% of it's sales revenue.

Divine Doors now has two outlets – one on the Southside of Dublin (Western Retail Park, Nangor Road, Dublin12) and the original store on the Northside of Dublin (Unit 33 Slaney Road, Dublin Industrial Estate, Glasnevin, Dublin 11).

Divine Doors Website Brief

The first thing Divine Doors needed to do for it's website was to get pictures of all of it's interior doors, and to write a brief description of each product in list format (word or excel).

Divine Doors provided the pictures of its interior doors and its product list to IDR Global Super Web Design. IDR Global Super Web Design uploaded this data to Divine Door's website via it's Content Management System software . From this point, we had the main content of the website. This created an online catalogue of Divine Doors range of interior doors.

The next step was to decide on what other pages the website needed in order to be useful to customers. In addition to the standard Home Page, About Us page & Contact Us page, we added an ‘Our Stores' page which included a location map and directions to Divine Doors showrooms. We also added a ‘Get a Brochure' page so that website visitors could easily respond to the website.

Divine Doors – Going Live

From the moment Divine Doors website went live, it was receiving visits from potential customers. People saw the web address in advertisements and on the Divine Doors brochure. Intitially, we used Google ‘pay per click' campaigns to direct people to the website on the internet. Now, Divine Doors generates more than 50% of its website traffice from free listings. One of the most important aspects of the website was that it allowed Divine Doors to show it's full range of interior doors, rather than just showing a portion of the range of interior doors in a brochure.

Since launching the website, Divine Doors have added more products to their website – Exterior Doors, Door Handles, PVC Windows, PVC Doors, Sliding Doors, etc.

Divine Doors website is an essential marketing tool that generates sales enquiries, and provides a means to show all of Divine Doors products online that is easily accessible to customers. Divine Doors website generates sales and customer confidence.
